Welcome! Please note that as of the 6th of December, 2008 we've moved to a new. much larger location across the street from our first store. We are now located at 27 State Street between Capitol Grounds Cafe and the Pink Shutter flower shop! We'll post photos and more soon!
On June 2nd, 2007 surrounded by the fanfare of the culmination of Montpelier, Vermont's second annual Fashion Week celebration, Shaline opened her stunning studio and bridal boutique at 32 State Street. After more than 17 years of operating out of her home studio, the time was right for Shaline to build the shop that she had dreamt of for her clients. A space was selected, a lease was signed, and Shaline, with the abundant help of family, friends, and neighbors, transformed a small, blank space into an elegant and beautiful bridal shop that is , as has been observed by many passserby, a perfect complement to an already charming and vibrant downtown community.
Shaline has done it again! She has transformed another space into what some have called a "fairy tale boutique". Her new location offers nearly 3 times the space, with the addition of a second changing room, extra mirrors for brides to admire their gowns from every angle, and perhaps most importantly, a sewing studio right in the shop! This means your dress will literally be designed, patterned, sewn and detailed right there in the shop.
The new space also offers a greatly expanded giftware and accessory section, and shoes as well!
Appointments are not needed but recommended if trying on gowns. We welcome all and believe that ~ Every Dress Begins with a Dream!~
